Responsibilities
1 Sets up pre-audits based on the planned type of Social, Business Ethical, Safety and / or Process compliance audits
2 Helps with preparing factories and its personnel for these type of audits
3 Will be responsible to successfully prepare and go through various forms of Social, Business Ethical, Safety and Process compliance audits conducted by either third-party audit companies or directly by the customers’ audit departments, from initiation till closure
4 Create and follow-up on extensive Corrective Action Plans, and report both findings as well as actions taken to resolve these minor and critical findings
5 Utilize analytical skills to make critical decisions and recommendations to solve compliance-related problems
6 Maintain audit status of various parties and organize follow-up audits in a timely manner
7 Stay informed on latest developments of the different requirements and effectively transfer knowledge to other parties
8 Conduct unannounced visits to suppliers to ensure that suppliers are still compliant as per the requirements
9 Works closely with customers as well as suppliers for continuous improvements within the supply chain
10 Provide training documentation as well as Standard Operating Procedures that can be reused internally and by suppliers
11 Communicate status effectively to senior and executive management through reports, presentations and individual meetings
12 Assist other departments (Quality Control, Product Development, Materials) in their product-related certifications for the different markets as a liaison between AMG and third-party testing companies
Requirements
1 Bachelor’s degree preferred
2 3+ years’ experience in a Corporate Social Compliance management role and executing and managing Corporate Social Compliance (CSR), Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) audits
3 Understanding of, and proven experience with, WRAP, BSCI, SMETA 4-Pillar, BSI, SA8000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, C-TPAT, GSV, SQP, TGI, WCA, as well as company-specific audit programs
4 Strong understanding of (footwear) product-related laws, mainly in China, USA, Europe and Australia/New Zealand, like CCC, REACH, RSL, ASTM, Prop65, CSA, CE, EN, AS/NZS, etcetera
5 Proven experience working with, but preferably for, third party audit companies
6 Proven change management experience in a senior role within a manufacturing and/or sourcing industry
7 Strong negotiator, backed by strong analytical skills
8 Extensive Microsoft Office skills with the purpose of reporting and presenting
9 Knowledge and experience in the processes of Product Development, Supply Chain Management and Financial Management of Footwear and Footwear Manufacturing
10 Excellent Oral & Written Communication and Presentation Skills in both Mandarin and English
11 Expected travel within Asia is about 40%, with most of the time spent in China (Fujian and
